A week in review – #recipes in our #menu


Again this week we combined our “Summer Electric Plan”  with a Theme Week. This time it was Asian, really it turned out to be Thai.

We had some really good dishes. I especially liked the Slow Cooker Thai Chicken Soup. It reminded me of another Thai soup I really like. By the end of the week though we had a small rebellion 🙂 After two weeks of “Theme Weeks” the family (me included) were ready for ‘regular food’ so we skipped the last dish Kowloon Chicken. It was just as well since we had run out of chicken anyway. We enjoyed the ‘Theme Week’ idea. we tried a lot of new dishes we probably never would have. However, it should probably only be done for one week at a time.

Following our menu is sorted by these cooking methods:

Quick Stove Top dishes

Spicy Cashew Chicken

Thai Noodles

Pad Grapow (Thai Basil Chicken)

Slow Cooker Thai Chicken Soup (we got a late start so ended up making it on the stove top)

Steamer

Rice 3x

Microwave

Oriental Pea Pods And Carrots
