Final day of our “Latin Theme Week” dinners. Its been fun to try new dishes
Tonight our culinary adventure brought us home to the United States. Specifically, Texas, for classic Tex-Mex cuisine.
The dish we had tonight was Taco Salad. This really was the perfect dish for this evening. The nice thing about Taco Salad is that it is so flexible. After a week of Latin based dishes we had plenty of left overs. These left overs are the perfect toppings and sides for Taco Salad.
We made the typical Taco meat in the recipe. Each of us had the opportunity to ‘customize’ each of our dishes. On mine I used the usual toppings in the recipe along with the leftovers Gallo Pinto and Mango Salsa.
